Hi world! How are you doing? Wondering, what I’ve been up to the past years? Well, here comes a fast forward recap! It’s been a bit quiet on my blog, but if you’ve been following me on Facebook or Instagram, you probably noticed that I’m still a busy bee as usual but in a balanced way! RED – WOW Events (The Netherlands)
As a youth leader in God’s Embassy Amsterdam, it was time to level up and help build an ark for a new movement of God’s spirit in this hour and in His House. Together with others, we created new wine skin youth ministry, where teenagers aged 12 to 17 years old (RED) and young adults aged 18 to 25 years old (WOW) were able to encounter the new wine, Jesus was pouring into the new generation. Our vision and mission for them is to ‘Become all they are meant to be’ and to ‘Live in their destiny’ at a young age. Born For Greatness – Satcha.nl
Satcha and I, came into each other lives at an appointed time last year. My mindset needed to be renewed and as you can read in a previous article I wrote about her. As a ‘Mindset Coach’ she contributed to that! With her leadership teachings from John Maxwell and OQP (Only Quality People) network teaching from Les Brown, I’ve gained a lot of new knowledge that equipped me in this next level of my life. I also received the opportunity to open one of her ‘Manifesting His greatness’ events and am honored to help prepare her for her English Masterclasses in the Caribbean. I am so proud of her progress! Purpose Model – Dr. David Banks (U.S.A)
When people surround themselves with an OQP network, you automatically get in touch with other OQP’ers. This is how I met Dr. David Banks, who is a John Maxwell and Purpose Coach in the United States of America. With his unique ‘Purpose model’ he helped me discover my purpose (The Great Commandment) here on earth. He invited me to do an interview (watch below), concerning living a purpose filled life (The Great Commission). He has a Noble Tribe Facebook page, where he created a beautiful platform for internationals to share their passion and purposes with the world. Feel free to check out how he impacts nations!
Royal Business Community – Kingdom Investor Chapters
Last year, I joined a community named ‘Royal Business Community’, whereby many Christian entrepreneurs receive teachings on how to do Kingdom Business in this modern day society. The main thing, that made a massive impact on me, is how to create ‘Sheep Nations’ which means living a lifestyle of ‘Sharing is Caring’ taught by Dave Hudgson who leads Kingdom Initiatives in Australia. In the upcoming paragraphs you get an idea of how you can impact, influence and inspire your spheres!
Fundraisers – Africa & Indonesia
God, puts different children’s homes on my heart and that of my dear friend Esther Knott-Macnack. She is also, one of the RED – WOW youth leaders in our church. Her family, has a foundation named ‘Foundation ‘Hope For Tomorrow’ which blesses many families with food regionally, nationally and internationally. In December, they will be organizing a Christmas event for the less fortunate.
This year, it was time to bless the children’s home in Mozambique, Africa lead by spiritual mother Corry Ockhuyzen. The children from Iris Matolo Rio Ministries needed schoolbooks and a work-and learning place in the form of a hairdressing saloon. Shereen Jaeger, another dear friend of mine and I, organized a fundraiser in church and were able to raise 6000 euros. She created the most beautiful content, check out her Instagram: jaegerlifestylemedia. This was a double portion of blessing, which God surprised us with. I hope to visit the children in 2023!
Last month, my friends Desmond and Ellen Gootjes of Foundation Dare2Give organized a benefit dinner at my school VONK for the children’s home ‘The Family Hut’ in Medan, Sumatra, Indonesia. They are raising money to build their very own orphanage to facilitate the children while taking good care of them. The bible says, we need to look after the poor, the orphans, widowers and the sick. – James 1:27
I dream of going on a mission trip with our youth group to support, our dear brother Daniel Okiror with his youth ministry in Uganda and Kenya (Beats of Hope). Where, he helps street children and offer them education in different areas of their lives!
Gilleon’S Hope Business
It’s been an intense transitioning year for me, a true paradigm shift has been happening. God is doing such a deep work within me. I’ve been working really hard on building my business ‘Gilleon’S Hope – Let Your Word Shine’. I’ve truly been blessed with clients and students who have invested in me and granted me their trust to help them move towards the next level of their best self. I’ve been blessed, with a beautiful location: Smart Business Center where I can teach my classes. I am blessed that people like my poetry and invite me to recite them where I am invited to do so.
School Teacher to School Counsellor
In this area, I have been changing as well. Last year, I quit one day in the week to be more active with my business. This year, I quit another day. First, I just wanted to go back to the basics and teach the English language but soon I noticed that I didn’t find any fulfillment in this area anymore.
My heart, would go out to special educational needs children as they are my passion and my expertise. For a year, I’ve been talking to different coaches concerning my career options at Clusius College known as VONK now. I am glad to mention that I am making a new step in my education career. In November, I became the new ‘Begeleider Passend Onderwijs’ at ‘Samenwerkingsverband Waterland’.
God, created a new job that fits perfectly and is given to me in His perfect time. This enables me to create more space for the new God wants to do during this season in my life at the age of 40 years (which was also a huge happening in my life)!

Sometimes, I would just check out from the busyness in life and check in this cute ‘Beemster Tiny House’ to write this article and practice for my last Spoken Word performance in 2022 during a wedding of a very special couple. The draft of this article, was written on the 25th of September 2022. Even though, the year 2022 still had three months to go. That day I celebrated ‘Rosh Hashanah’ which is Hebrew for Jewish New Year. A ‘Shemitah’ time ends, meaning a cycle of 7 years was coming to an end as soon as the sun sets. As most of you know, the biblical number 7 stands for completion. The land has rested, with all the seeds sown and in Kairos time (the appointed time) it will produce fruit when the harvest is ripe.
The trees and chilly weather have been talking to us that a new season has arrived. Fall had announced itself and the leaves were turning brown which also means that we are allowed to let go and leave the old season behind. “The old has passed and the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17.
As I am completing this article, it’s winter season in the month of January 2023. I always consider this a time of rest while preparing for spring time! I want to wish everyone A Blessed New Year, I am decreeing and declaring that the best is yet to come!
